Value Hearing has a standing program that rewards existing clients with a $200 voucher to spend with Value Hearing every time they refer a friend who is fitted with hearing aids. 

The friend also receives a $200 discount on the cost of their new hearing aids. The discount can be applied to consumables and accessories as well.

There is no limit to the amount of referrals (and they don’t expire), so someone could get their next hearing aids for free, based on the credit they build up.

How to ask for a referral

An ideal time to ask for a referral is when the client expresses their delight.

It can be as simple as saying:

“Is there anyone you know who’d like to come in for a free assessment? If they buy hearing aids, you get $200 to spend with us and they get a $200 discount.”

Step by Step

  1. Print flyer and stick it face up on the audiologist desk (and the reception desk if appropriate)
  2. Print 3 extra and keep them to give away if someone asks for them
  3. Audiologists: At the end of each appointment ask the client if they know someone who needs a hearing assessment.
    1. If the client says ‘yes’, let them know they get $200 to spend with Value Hearing for every referral that becomes a hearing aid fitting.
  4. Admins: At the end of each appointment ask the client if they’ve heard about the referral program and let them know you’re going to give them a referral card they can pass on.
  5. When a new client rings to make a first appointment, ask if anyone has referred them
